This policy explains how CreeperHost Ltd ("CreeperHost", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar browser technologies on our websites and services.

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. Some disappear when you close your browser. Others remain for a set period so that a website can recognise a returning browser or remember a choice.

Essential cookies

Some cookies are needed to provide a feature you have asked for. They can keep you signed in, protect forms and accounts, remember the contents of an order, retain a preference, balance traffic between servers or complete a payment.

These cookies are not used for advertising. Blocking them in your browser may prevent parts of CreeperHost or CreeperPanel from working correctly.

Statistical site improvement

We use Matomo, hosted on our own infrastructure, to understand how people use CreeperHost and where the site could work better. It helps us find confusing steps, broken pages, slow requests and places where customers leave the order process before completing it.

The information can include:

• pages visited and how the visitor reached them;
• interactions with pages and progress through the order process;
• general browser, device and operating-system information;
• approximate location and website performance information;
• errors or failed actions; and
• pseudonymous order and transaction information used to count completed orders accurately and investigate reported checkout discrepancies.

Matomo does not receive account passwords or the contents entered into ordinary form fields. We do not sell Matomo information, use it to build advertising profiles or use it to make decisions about individual customers. We use it to produce statistics and improve the website and order process.

Matomo first records separate visits and transactions before building the totals we use. A transaction reference can sometimes be matched to an order using our separate systems, so we treat it as pseudonymous personal information rather than pretending it is completely anonymous.

UK cookie rules allow statistical technologies used solely to understand and improve an online service without prior consent. We must explain what we are doing and provide a simple, free way to object. The control below lets you disable or re-enable CreeperHost's Matomo analytics for your browser at any time.

Other services

Some parts of the site, such as checkout payment methods, come from another provider. They may use their own cookies when you choose to use them. The control below changes CreeperHost's Matomo analytics only.

Browser controls

Your browser can also block or delete cookies. Blocking every cookie may prevent sign-in, ordering, payments and saved preferences from working. Browser controls do not replace the Matomo preference below, which is the simplest way to object specifically to CreeperHost's statistical analytics.
