For a fresh start, the settings cover the world choices that change an entire playthrough. Tune resources, terrain, enemy bases and evolution, set the server name and player limit, add a password, and choose how the game is listed. Mods and Space Age belong in the panel
Factorio's mod scene can turn one factory into several different games. CreeperPanel searches the official Factorio mod portal, installs chosen releases and keeps the installed set visible beside the service. It is a much nicer way to build a pack than passing a mods folder around and hoping everybody remembers what changed.
The panel also has dedicated DLC controls, including Space Age. You can line up the server with the content your group owns, keep the map and mod set together, and use a backup before a bigger overhaul.
Headroom for the megabase
Factorio asks more of a server as the map, player count, logistics network and number of active machines grow. Premium is our usual recommendation for an established or modded factory, with stronger game-server headroom for the point where "temporary" production becomes a megabase. Pro gives larger communities dedicated hardware of their own.
