Magic-focused options include Blood Magic, Botania, Thaumcraft, Thaumic Tinkerer, Sanguimancy, and Mystcraft.
The pack’s variety makes it possible to build around different interests rather than following one fixed progression. ComputerCraft and OpenPeripheral also add programmable and peripheral-focused gameplay for players who enjoy technical experimentation.
Exploration and Building
Biomes O’ Plenty, Natura, and The Twilight Forest expand the world with varied environments and places to explore. Mystcraft adds another dimension-oriented element, while JourneyMap, Waila, and Waila Harvestability provide useful information during travel and resource gathering.
Building tools include Carpenter’s Blocks, Chisel 2, BiblioCraft integrations, OpenBlocks, FlatSigns, and Tinkers’ Mechworks.
